Vermont Youth Conservation Corps crews make a lasting impact on the environment and communities across the Green Mountain State. Whether you’re looking for a seasonal or year-round job in conservation or organic agriculture, you can find your place at VYCC. You’ll work hard and make a difference.

Positions are available for youth, teens, and young adults ages 15 and up. Position descriptions below provide details on crew types, qualifications, responsibilities, schedules, and compensation. Learn more about logistics, including camping and food arrangements on the Campus & Camping Life page.

Many positions are AmeriCorps service positions (learn more about AmeriCorps benefits).

There is a single application for all Crew Member positions and a single application for all Leader positions. After you fill out an application, a VYCC staff member will reach out to discuss the specific position you’re looking for. Completing an application does not obligate you to join VYCC.
