Director of Development and Community Engagement
We are recruiting for our next Director of Development and Community Engagement. Are you someone who is an experienced fundraiser with deep knowledge of Vermont’s philanthropic community? As Director of Development and Community Engagement you will help create paid service experiences for young adults, support healthier forests and water across Vermont and improve food access for communities across northern Vermont. This role will lead VYCC’s multi-faceted fundraising, which centers on strong and authentic relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations. You will develop strategies to raise visibility and secure philanthropic gifts for the annual fund, planned giving and capital campaigns.

Farm Production Manager
If you’re excited about working with the next generation of farmers, and being outside working on a variety of tasks – this might be the job for you! You’ll help maintain and improve farm infrastructure and manage vegetable production. You’ll also ensure that the farm provides meaningful service and learning opportunities for youth, young adults, staff and volunteers of all backgrounds. A strong candidate will be excited about a blend of behind-the-scenes responsibilities and time in the field supporting crews during the season.
Community Health Manager
Do you have a passion for working within the health sector, a deep commitment to community food security, and a collaborative and creative mindset? The Community Health Manager works with and manages external partners, VYCC staff and Corps Members alike to support the Health Care Share program. The Heath Care Share connects Vermont families who experience barriers to accessing locally grown produce or have a diet-related illness with a weekly vegetable share they pick up at partnering medical centers. It is the largest food as medicine program in the state, reaching more than 450 families per year and working with over a dozen medical partners. We are looking for a new Community Health Manager who will bring experience and an innovative spirit to the VYCC team to build on the success of the current program and continue its innovation and expansion. A strong candidate will be excited about a blend of behind-the-scenes responsibilities and time in the field supporting crews during the season.
Serve Learn Earn Data & Engagement Manager
Are you someone who identifies as self-proclaimed ‘data nerd’? Do you enjoy improving systems and have an eye for detail? Serve Learn Earn is looking for a Data & Engagement Manager (DEM) to play a key role in shaping and enhancing the way we use data to evolve and grow our workforce development collaborative. A successful DEM will work to enhance our ability to share our story and the impact of our collective work. A successful candidate will bring technical knowledge and know-how to build capacity at the broader level, as well as within each organization. As the SLE Data and Engagement Manager you will help turn number and figures into visually compelling stories. You will develop strategies to assist with improving efficiencies with data systems and tracking, to align all four non-profit organizations.
This role will work across the four organizations that comprise Serve Learn Earn. Serve Learn Earn (SLE) is a workforce development collaboration among four nonprofits – Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC), ReSOURCE, Audubon Vermont, and Vermont Works for Women – dedicated to enhancing, and increasing the number of, paid service and training opportunities in Vermont.
Development and Recruitment Coordinator
Help us foster a strong connection with the local Vermont community (and beyond)! The Development and Recruitment Coordinator is part of a collaborative Engagement team that connects Corps Members with a broader community of supporters including alumni, partners, businesses, and members of the local community. The Engagement Team primarily supports fundraising, Corps Member recruitment, and alumni services. As a key member of this team, the Development and Recruitment Coordinator supports and enhances fundraising and recruitment efforts. Theis role is both an administrative position as well as a public-facing representative of the organization. Data management and gift processing tasks, as well as connecting with prospective Corps Members at various recruitment events are central elements of this position.
