Take Action.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at VYCC! We accept volunteers in both our Farm Program and Conservation Program. See below for more details. Let’s get to work!

Volunteer on The Farm at VYCC

Volunteers (individuals and organized groups) are needed throughout the growing season to help plant, maintain, harvest, wash, and pack vegetables. Your service increases our capacity to provide food to Vermonters experiencing food insecurity or diet related illness through the Health Care Share.

We welcome volunteers to the farm Monday through Thursday in the spring (April-Mid June) and then again in the fall (September – November). You can sign up for either a half day (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm) or a full day (9am-4pm).

Sign up now!
To volunteer on the farm as an individual, please complete the Calendly form linked here. If you are interested in bringing a group, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@vycc.org.

Are you a City Market member? Volunteer with the Farm at VYCC to complete your Member Worker hours. Wohoo!

Volunteer on a Conservation Crew

We host youth volunteer groups on our campus in Richmond on Fridays during the summer. If you are interested in bringing a group to help maintain VYCC’s trails and forests, please contact Keith to learn more: keith.warner@vycc.org.

We also work with groups and organizations in southern Vermont to help host and complete community conservation projects with youth volunteer groups. If you are interested in hosting a group of youth volunteers with VYCC, please contact Keith to learn more!
