Your time and energy can help us do even more.
As an organization that exists to serve the land, the youth, and our community, we welcome help from people who share those same values.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Farm at VYCC! Volunteers (individuals and organized groups) are needed throughout the growing season to help plant, maintain, harvest, wash, and pack vegetables. Your service increases our capacity to provide food to Vermonters facing food insecurity through the Health Care Share.
To volunteer on the farm complete the form below. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 802-434-3969.

Let’s farm together
We welcome volunteers to the farm Monday through Thursday from May to November. Sign up for a half day (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm) or a full day (9am-4pm). Please fill out the below form and our volunteer coordinator will reach out to you shortly.
Attention City Market members! Volunteer with the Farm at VYCC to complete your Member Work hours.
Our goal is to get out in the fields and enjoy the work we signed up to do. In order to do so, we will spend the first few minutes making sure all volunteers are familiar with our current safety protocols. You will first be asked to use our outside handwashing station. While you are on the farm, we expect everyone to maintain a distance of 6-ft apart and wear your mask at all times. Each volunteer will complete a health screening upon arrival. If you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please do not come to the farm. Please fill up your water bottle at home, as visitors do not have access to the farmhouse at this time. Porta-potties and outside handwashing stations are available and all volunteers are expected to bring their own mask.
If you have any questions or concerns about volunteering and our COVID-19 precautions, please reach out to VYCC’s Volunteer Coordinator, Kyle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
