Pharm to Table: VYCC’s Farm Program Featured in Vermont Life Magazine

Vermont Life Magazine’s summer 2017 issue features the work of VYCC crews on the Health Care Share. This innovative food-security project is entering its fifth season with expansion sites in Rutland and, new this year, Newport. “Rx: Fresh Food” by Melissa Pasanen, photographs by Daria Bishop, appears in the Summer 2017 issue of Vermont Life Magazine. Molly Gellar will lead a crew of eight teens in Newport this summer. Working on organic farms all around the region, Molly has cultivated a deep appreciation for soil, food, and the connections that farming brings to communities. She lives in the Northeast Kingdom and is very excited to work with youth on the Health Care Share.
