Your time and energy can help us do even more.

As an organization that exists to serve the land, the youth, and our community, we welcome help from people who share those same values. There are several ways you can get involved as a volunteer at VYCC.

Become a Volunteer on the Farm

Volunteers (individuals to organized groups) are needed throughout the growing season on the Farm at VYCC. From early spring until late fall, (March-November), we appreciate help weeding, planting, harvesting, washing, and packing vegetables. Your service increases the amount of food we are able to provide to Vermonters in need through our Health Care Share.

Support Crews in the Field

We are always looking for guest speakers that can enhance the education our crews receive. Past guest speakers include wildlife biologists, naturalists, writers, ornithologists, state leaders, regional foresters, fish and game wardens, and representatives from institutions of higher education.

Is there a project in your area that you feel passionately about getting done? Contact us to discuss the project. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with members of the community to identify and secure support for important conservation projects.
