Make a lasting contribution to public lands in Vermont. Serving as a VYCC AmeriCorps Member is a unique opportunity to work, travel, and make a difference.
What You Will Do
It is a value of VYCC to work hard, while being part of a dynamic team and having fun. Each of our crews are assigned a variety of projects that will expand a crew members technical skills, as well as their interpersonal skills working with others. There is no better way to both learn about yourself and learn new job-ready skillsets than a VYCC crew!
On our Fall Young Adult Trail crew you will work on projects that:
Fight back against invasive plant species and help balance the Vermont ecosystem near watersheds, in meadows, and in forests;
Help maintain the 100+ year old Appalachian and Long Trails that run along the top of the Green Mountains;
