Now Hiring Fall Young Adult Richmond Farm Crew

Mid August –  End of October

Learn organic farming skills, harvest the bounty of a Vermont growing season, and help feed Vermonters in need supplying the Health Care Share program. On this crew you will serve as a VYCC AmeriCorps Member. It is a unique opportunity to work, live on a farm (or live locally) and make a difference.

Qualifications

  • 17- 24 years of age
  • Solid belief in the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps mission.
  • Strong desire and motivation to work hard and make a difference.
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors and in all types of weather (it’s chilly here in October!)
  • Openness to learning and receiving feedback.
  • Willingness and commitment to following all immediate and general crew policies.
  • Ability to work, learn, grow in a small tight-knit community

Compensation: Living stipend and $1,230.69 Education Award
