Vi Holmes (they/them) – Vi is returning to VYCC this year after being a member of the first VYCC Queer Crew in 2021. They are on the peer-led Pro Forest Projects Crew this summer, then leading the Americorps Forest Project crew this upcoming fall. Vi has been a ski coach for six years at Sugarbush, and this past year led the four to six year-old day program, AKA the Mini Bears. Growing up in Vermont, they spent most of their time playing in the woods as a child and they plan to do the same as an adult.  

Lilly Haley (she/her) – This is Lily’s first year with VYCC and her fourth conservation season. Her passion for forestry began with her position in the Student Conservation Association, where she was first introduced to chain sawing. She then went on to the Leadership Development Program with Northwest Youth Corps before leading a crew for the Idaho Conservation Corps. She is currently working on a degree in Arboriculture and Community Forestry at UMass Amherst. This season, Lilly will be on the peer-led Pro Forest Projects Crew. In her spare time, Lilly loves to run, read, and hang out with her German Shepherd, Cleo.
