Example Projects
Since 1985 the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps has completed hundreds of thousands of hours of conservation work worth more than two million dollars to enhance Vermont's natural and cultural resources.
Communities, non-profit organizations, and state agencies have sponsored VYCC crews to improve local resources for the citizens of Vermont's cities and towns. VYCC crews have also constructed and improved many miles of trails and completed hundreds of hours of wildlife enhancements on state and federal lands. Through this service, VYCC has developed a broad base of knowledge and expertise in conservation work.
