Headquarters Staff Positions

The VYCC currently employs 15 staff and three AmeriCorps VISTA members at the Leadership, Education and Training Center in Richmond. Due to the dynamic culture of the VYCC, we are often adding new positions that may become available at different times during the year. Current Openings:

AmeriCorps VISTA Program

Since 2004 the VYCC has partnered with the Volunteers in Service to America Program. VYCC VISTAs provide full-time service to VYCC in an effort to create and expand programs, build the overall capacity of VYCC, and to reach out to more young people in the state of Vermont.

Currently we have no openings in our VISTA Program.

Current and past VISTA Projects include:

• Assisting with the design of a new statewide agricultural program
• Working to increase the VYCC volunteer base by 50%
• Establishing an alumni database and assisting with the planning of an annual Alumni Reunion
• Developing a curriculum and training plan for Youth Development and Leadership Crews
• Partnering with local schools to create a VYCC internship program
• Designing and implementing an effective, sustainable, technical training program for the public
