Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to teach young people personal responsibility through meaningful work that connects us to the land, community, and one another. VYCC is Vermont’s leading environmental and educational organization that provides inspiring and rewarding work opportunities for youth. Our program model is: small teams, well-trained leaders, and diverse crews working to complete projects that benefit the broader public.
Our work is guided by the belief that every young person deserves the chance to work hard and to make meaningful contributions. We believe that youth need structured and well-led opportunities to practice leadership, teamwork, and professional skills.
