Registration

To register for the Bolton to the Barns Backcountry Ski Tour, fill out the form below. Having people register before the tour allows us to better estimate the number of skiers and to send last minute email notifications to participants should there be a weather event that affects the tour. Please be aware that providing the information below will NOT complete the registration process. We will still need a completed liability waiver and the $55 fee ($25 for students and VYCC alumni). You can download and print those forms here. To pay the registration fee, you may do so through our online site or by sending a check to:

Shuttling Skiers

Early in the day, before your ski, we will be providing shuttles from the Monitor Barns in Richmond up to the Bolton Valley Nordic Center. We’ve decided to do the shuttle first knowing that after your long ski, you’ll want to relax without worrying about how or when to get your car. 

Crew Leader shuttles will depart at 7:30 and Crew Member shuttles will depart at 9:30. On the registration form, please let us know if you will need a shuttle. We will not provide shuttles at the end of the day. 

Babysitting

We will have several sitters to provide childcare for young children. Children need to be potty-trained and able to be away from their parents for a good part of the day. Childcare will begin at 9:00 and parents who need a shuttle are encouraged to come at 9:00 to allow their kids time to settle in before taking the shuttle up to Bolton Valley at 9:30. Once parents finish the tour, they will be expected to pick up their child. Childcare will cost $20 for the first child, and $5 for each additional child. If you would like childcare, please check the appropriate box on your registration form.
