Wildlife Event

On Thursday, May 1st, Keeping Track will present a wildlife event at the Mount Mansfield Union High School gymnasium in Jericho. Come and see pelts, mounts and skulls of North American mammals. You will have the chance to see track molds, examples of animal sign and view a slideshow that will introduce carnivore biology and ecology. This event is sponsored by the Bolton Conservation Commission, the Duxbury Land Trust, the Jericho Conservation Commission, the Richmond Land Trust, and the VYCC. Read the event flyer to learn more!

Green Up Day at the Monitor Barns

In order to prepare the East Monitor Barn Property for summer use we are holding a cleanup event on Green Up Day (Saturday, May 3rd). We will gather at 9:00 a.m. at the East Monitor Barn. Bring work gloves and a treat to share. We will have the hot coffee! Community Meeting

On May 8th, at 6 p.m., the VYCC, Richmond Land Trust, Richmond Area Business Association, Richmond Historical Society and the Richmond Creative Communities will be co-convening a public forum regarding the East Monitor Barn property. There will be site tours, refreshments, and an informational meeting aimed at giving the community the chance to help envision the programmatic uses for the property.

Music in the Hay Mow

On July 13th, the VYCC Alumni Association will host folk singer Bill Staines. The event will be open to the public with ticket discounts for VYCC Alumni. The event is being co-presented by Events for Tom, with sponsorship by Smith, Bell & Thompson. 

Vermont Mozart Festival

The Vermont Mozart Fesitval will present Harp in the Hay Mow on July 15th. The concert will include Handel’s Concerto for harp & strings and Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro for harp, flute, clarinet, and strings, and feature Bridget Kibbey on harp. Denim and Diamonds

On September 13th, the VYCC will host the third annual Denim and Diamonds at the West Monitor Barn! This year we will host our silent auction online, and are looking for a small group of volunteers to help with finding items.
